AGOURA HILLS, CA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

<b>Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?</b>
Shary spends everyday working on how she can help the next person. She goes around making and giving blankets and meals for the homeless and would give the shirt off her back for anyone. Shary lost two sons and one grandson in the service. She lives every day as if it were her last and can't sleep at night until she's touched someone's life. Shary is amazing. She has the biggest heart of anyone I know. She is a hero to hundreds of people who don't even know her.

<b>What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?: </b>
She inspires me every day to be a better person. Her way of thinking and how she lives has made me a better person.
