Sponsorships Available for Southeast Ventura County YMCA Joel & Frances McCrea Memorial Award Gala.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for the Southeast Ventura County YMCA’s first Joel and Frances McCrea Memorial Award Gala taking place Saturday, September 23 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village.

All proceeds from the Joel & Frances McCrae Memorial Award Gala will fund the YMCA’s Safety Around Water program. “It is our goal to make every child water safe,” says Janice Wise, YMCA development director. “In addition, through generous donations and sponsorships, the Y will continue to provide scholarships for the programs and services we offer to community members.”

The gala will feature gourmet cuisine, live entertainment from Lenny Goldsmith’s New Old Band and a silent auction. The YMCA will honor Doug and Penny Yarrow with the first Joel and Frances McCrea Memorial Award for their leadership, vision and commitment to bringing a new YMCA to Westlake Village.

The YMCA has been serving the area since 1964. It is dedicated to building relationships, impacting lives and strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
