Spring Camp at Triunfo YMCA
Triunfo YMCA, serving Westlake Village, Oak Park and Agoura Hills, is holding its spring camp from April 6 through 10.
The Triunfo YMCA, serving Westlake Village, Oak Park and Agoura Hills, is holding its spring camp from April 6 through 10 at the YMCA daycare facility at Willow Elementary School (29026 Laro Dr., Agoura Hills). The camp coincides with spring school break.
“The week is filled with positive, fun activities designed to build athletic, social and interpersonal skills,” says Chrissy Withers, the Y’s lead program director. Kids in kindergarten through eighth grades can participate.
This year, the weeklong camp have a “Survivor” theme (outwit, outplay, outlast). Activities include a tug-of-war challenge, sand bucket puzzle race, scavenger hunt, coconut relays, brain toughness teasers and a bamboo shoots relay race. Campers will make tribal banners, island bracelets and tie dye bandanas.

The camp is run by Triunfo YMCA’s licensed daycare. Extended camp hours are 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The cost per camper for the full week is $205.
