State Route 23 To Shut Between Moorpark And Thousand Oaks
California state Route 23 will shut intermittently throughout the week as part of a pavement rehabilitation program.
AGOURA HILLS, CA — Parts of California state Route 23 will close between Moorpark and Thousand Oaks this week for a Caltrans pavement rehabilitation program, causing potential delays.
From 10 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday, all lanes from East Hillcrest Drive to the Ventura Freeway (Interstate 101) will be closed, with partial closures starting at New Los Angeles Avenue. The partial closures will repeat Monday as well.

Between Wednesday and Friday, there will be intermittent partial closures from state Route 23 to Interstate 101, excluding the Janss Road on-ramp and off-ramp. These updates can be found on the Caltrans website.

The closures are part of an ongoing project to replace pavement in Ventura County. The 8.2-mile stretch of state Route 23 between I-101 and the Ronald Reagan Freeway (state Route 118) will be rehabilitated through fall 2023.
