Vegans Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, along with other investors, including singer Chrissie Hynde and producer Steve Bing, have plans to open a vegan restaurant in the Bokado space on Ventura Blvd. in Studio City. Oprah endorsed chef, Tal Ronnen, is said to be creating the menu. No word yet when the change will happen. Stay tuned.
Louises Trattoria in Studio City has closed and will be replaced by Sammy's Woodfired Pizza, a San Diego based company.
