2. Take the kids to a free movie in an air-conditioned theater. Muvico is offering its Summer Film Fest in Thousand Oaks (166 West Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks). How to Train Your Dragon is this week's selection, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
3. Signups are being held for teams that want to participate in a one-day flag football tournament hosted by the Triunfo YMCA. The tournament is Sunday, August 11 at Willow Elementary School (29026 Laro Dr., Agoura Hills) with tournament play beginning at 8 a.m. For more information, call 818-707-9622 or email kandrus@triunfoymca.org.
4. Spend an evening around the campfire with neighbors, friends and family at King Gillette Ranch. It will be an entertaining evening with campfire songs, marshmallow roasting and a nature program! 1.5 hours. Follow signs to outdoor amphitheater.
