The Triunfo
YMCA, serving Westlake Village, Agoura Hills and Oak Park, will host its annual
Healthy Kids Day May 4 at Willow Elementary School (29026 Laro Dr.) in Agoura
from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event, which focuses on healthy activities for
children, is free to the public.
YMCA's
Healthy Kids Day is the Y's national initiative to improve the health and
well-being of families and to help them get a jump on creating a healthier
summer. “Nationally, Healthy Kids Day has been around for nearly 20 years,”
says Chrissy Withers, Triunfo YMCA lead program director. “This event gives
parents the opportunity to see all the fun and healthy activities that are
available this summer for their kids.”
Activities
will include bounce houses, carnival games, a dunk tank, face painting,
sunglasses decorating and archery.
