Triunfo YMCA Thanksgiving Camp--Fall Fun Nov. 23 - 25

The Triunfo YMCA, serving Westlake Village, Agoura and Oak Park, is holding its annual Thanksgiving Camp November 23 through the 25 at its Willow Elementary School (29026 Laro Dr., Agoura Hills) childcare facility. The Las Virgenes Unified School District is closed the week of Thanksgiving.

Campers ages 5 through 14 will take part in a variety of supervised indoor and outdoor activities. This year’s camp theme is “Soaring Over California.”

Monday, November 23 will have a sports focus that includes a USC/UCLA tug-of-war. On Tuesday, November 24, the outdoors takes center stage with desert animal sand art, license plate art and “California gold rush” tag. On Wednesday, November 25, campers will create their own roller coaster and take part in a theme-park scavenger hunt. “Kids will get a chance to be creative, have plenty of play time and learn about California too,” says Chrissy Withers, Triunfo YMCA lead program director.
