• After Weeks-Long Halt, Water Shuttle Returns To Offering Free Rides Between Alameda And Oakland (patch.com) — Free water shuttle service between Alameda Landing and Oakland's Jack London Square is running again after engine repairs and a brief delay over a cracked bracket. The 45-foot Woodstock pontoon has already carried hundreds of thousands of riders and bikes, and city officials say it's been highly reliable since launching in 2024. Alameda residents can once more count on the free estuary crossing.
