Flaming Skulls Retain Piper's Cup

They did it again! After a long fought battle The inimitable Flaming Skulls defeated the Diamond Dogs in the Sofive O40 league to retain the much coveted Piper's Cup on Thursday night. The 10pm late night kick-off (past most of our bedtimes usually) was preceded as is traditional by Flaming Skulls team piper Andy MacKay piping the challenge to the Diamond Dogs. A fierce contest ensued and after a ding-dong back and forth game the Flaming Skulls prevailed with a 5-3 victory, thereby ensuring the much traveled Piper's Cup stays with its rightful owner, and not on the shelf of some bar somewhere.... Bring it on!
