Aliso Viejo Library Hosts Sustainable Speaker Series Featuring Sullivan Solar Power

Aliso Viejo Library Educates Residents About Solar for their Homes

The City of Aliso Viejo is promoting environmental sustainability. The Aliso Viejo Library has launched a new initiative, Sustainable Speaker Series. The library is working to engage local residents about topics relating to home improvement projects ranging from renewable energy to backyard bee keeping. On August 21, the library is hosting Sullivan Solar Power, a leading Southern California renewable energy company, to provide an educational workshop for residents.

Sullivan Solar Power will be presenting a one hour solar 101 seminar over dinner that will cover solar technology, the economics, available incentives, local case studies, owning vs. leasing, and the Orange County Solar Program.

The Orange County Solar Program is an initiative administered by Sullivan Solar Power for county residents that allows property owners to get paid to go solar. The program is currently in the second phase of funding and currently provides up to $1,500 in cash back incentives.
