Aliso Viejo Motor Officers Patrolling Near Schools

ALISO VIEJO, CA — The City of Aliso Viejo and the Orange County Sheriff's Department announced Thursday that officers would be out in force near area schools.

"Motor officers will be out at ANHS this morning conducting traffic enforcement," they said over Twitter feed. Aliso Viejo Motor Officers were also out at Aliso Viejo Middle School for late start Thursday.

Motor Deputies typically are on the look out to ensure the safety belt laws are followed, that drivers adhere to rules with children in crosswalks and school zones and as a reminder to drivers not to text and drive.

"Please drive safely, everybody," they said.
