• Starbucks Closing 64 California Locations: Full List of Stores (news-usa.today) — Aliso Viejo's Starbucks at 27072 La Paz Road is slated to close as part of the company's plan to shutter 64 California locations in the coming days. Crowdsourced tracking of the Starbucks app revealed the affected stores, since corporate has not released an official list, so regulars should expect closure signs on the doors this weekend and plan coffee runs accordingly.
   

• Lowest diesel gas price in Orange County hits $7.19 for week ending Sept. 19 (southoctimes.com) — Aliso Viejo drivers are paying among the higher diesel prices in Orange County, with the lowest reported local price at $8.15 per gallon during the week ending Sept. 19. Countywide, diesel averaged $8.13, slightly below the statewide average of $8.24, as global conflicts, refinery issues, and seasonal demand continue to push fuel costs higher and keep prices volatile day to day.
