ALISO VIEJO, CA — The Aliso Viejo City Council will hold a public hearing to consider a proposal from Shea Homes to replace three office buildings at 27081 Aliso Creek Road with 137 for-sale townhomes. The hearing is scheduled for 7 p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers.
The plan would change the site's designation from business park to high-density residential and advance a three-story attached community with two- to four-bedroom homes, enclosed garages and about 80 guest parking spaces. The layout includes landscaping along public streets, two community amenity areas and additional open space.
City staff said an initial study under state environmental law found no significant impacts with mitigation, and a mitigated negative declaration was prepared. Staff reports and environmental documents are available on the city's website, and the public may comment in person at the hearing or by submitting written comments to the City Clerk in advance.
Meeting materials and accessibility information are available on the city's website.
