- Produced, mixed, and engineered by Eli Thomson (The Wallflowers, Delta Spirit, Father John Misty, Ivan & Alyosha, Richard Swift)
- Recorded at Elliot Smith’s studio in Van Nuys (New Monkey), as well as Aliso Viejo (Flying H Studios)
- This is the band’s first full-length album (third album overall)
- Sonically it represents a mature departure from the previous albums - landing on more of a indie/blues/rock/soul vibe (think Jack White meets Adele with The Black Keys as a backing band)
- “Rusty Little Scissors” is the first single featured on the album
- Album artwork is by Joshua Ariza (Breaking Bad, Red Bull, Nike, Hurley, Billabong, Facebook)
