Local Voices: Restaurant Gem, Just a Short Drive Away

My wife and I decided to grab dinner at which is located at 27221 La Paz Road.  The cross streets are La Paz and Pacific Park.  It is now one of my favorite restaurants near Aliso Viejo. 

The menu has a variety of burgers, chicken and other sandwiches along with hot dogs, chili and an assortment of salads.  But the quality of the food is what sets this restaurant apart. 

The lovely Mrs. Lopez had a burger and a bottle of beer from a micro brewery.  I went with the rosemary chicken sandwich served with herb aioli on a toasted bun.  It came with my choice of a variety of sides.  I chose the vinegar based cole slaw.

It was probably the best chicken breast I've ever had.  Deemer's boasts their chicken is "all natural."  My only criticism is the rosemary could have been kicked up a notch. 

My wife had no complaints.  She only wishes she had ordered garlic fries too.

The restaurant is especially clean.  I even took a peek in the kitchen and was impressed.  Jeff, who runs the show clearly takes pride not only in the food, but in the restaurant itself.

Deemer's also serves breakfast on the weekends.

Good food that's priced right.  This is restaurant is a gem that I will soon visit again.
