Caller Reports Dazed Man Carrying Milk
Selected calls from Aliso Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, March 6-9.
A caller asked deputies to check for a man in his 30s with a thin build, wearing a thick, black coat with the hood up who seemed to be walking around in a daze while holding an empty milk carton. The man was seen near the intersection of Aliso Creek Road and Glenwood Drive.
The suspicious person report was made 8:47 a.m. Wednesday.

Stolen vehicle. 6:22 a.m. Friday. 0 block Hollyleaf. A caller said someone stole their vehicle, which had the keys inside. No further description was given on either the vehicle or the suspect.
Suspicious person/circumstances. 12:14 a.m. Friday. 22700 block Sanborn. A caller asked deputies to check for a 25-foot-long truck that was parked near the playground.

Unknown trouble. 10:31 a.m. Thursday. Pacific Park Drive and Chase. A caller reported a man wearing a long-sleeve shirt, blue shorts and tennis shoes whom they said was carrying a knife. The man was later confronted and was not carrying a knife, according to Sgt. D.J. Haldeman of the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
Suspicious person/circumstances. 4:17 a.m. Thursday. 26300 block of Cedarbrook. A resident said two construction trucks at a nearby park were shining their spotlights onto surrounding homes.
Keep the peace. 9:42 p.m. Wednesday. 0 block Donatello. A resident asked deputies for assistance regarding evicting a woman whom she allowed to board in her house for a couple days.
Suspicious person in vehicle. 2:39 p.m. Wednesday. 0 block Style Drive. A caller said a man driving a white van with no plates was parked for more than 15 minutes, adding that he was a stranger in the area.
Suspicious person/circumstances. 11:12 p.m. Tuesday. 0 block Key Largo. A caller asked deputies to check for a subject who tried to break into their vehicle. The caller said it was too dark to see details regarding the culprit.
Shots heard-no suspect information. 9:02 p.m. Tuesday. 0 block Enterprise. A caller said they heard what sounded like seven gunshots ring out off a nearby building.
