Men on Chik-fil-A Roof Worry Resident

Selected calls from Aliso Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, March 16-20.

A caller said two men who were on the roof of the Chik-fil-A and Sprint store near the 26800 block Aliso Creek Road had a ladder set up and their utility truck parked on the restaurant's drive-thru lane.

The suspicious person report was made 2:53 a.m. Tuesday.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 9:37 a.m. Tuesday. Pacific Park Drive and Aliso Niguel.

Vandalism in progress. 7:02 p.m. Monday. 100 block Matisse Circle. A resident said a group of kids who were throwing rocks at her windows took off on skateboards upon seeing them.

Disturbance. 12:59 p.m. Monday. Aliso Creek Road and Enterprise. A caller said a group of teenagers riding in a gold Hyundai Elantra were circling the parling lot, yelling and being annoying to people walking by.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 8:59 p.m. Sunday. 100 block Sandpiper Lane. A caller said woman at their front door was yelling for them to come out and would not stop ringing their door bell.

Traffic hazard. 11:43 a.m. Saturday. 24200 block Hollyoak. A caller said a 1,000-pound tree fell on his vehicle.

Drunk in public. 6:16 p.m. Saturday. Pacific Park Drive and Aliso Creek Road. A caller said a man wearing a green shirt was stumbling drunk as he walked on the sidewalk.

Disturbance-music or party. 10:59 p.m. Friday. 0 block Midtown Drive. A resident asked deputies to check for a large group of kids who jumped the fence and were having a party near the barbecue’s.

Suspicious person in vehicle. 10:35 p.m. Friday. 0 block Estero Pointe. A caller said two people who were riding in a red Toyota Avalon, that was parked near their home, was possibly casing the neighborhood.
