A motorcyclist was killed today during a single- vehicle crash near the Capistrano Highlands area of Laguna Hills, a sheriff's lieutenant said.
The crash was on Paseo De Valencia at Laguna Hills Drive, and it occurred about 10:05 a.m., said Orange County Sheriff's Lt. Jeff Hallock. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
At 11:45 a.m. all southbound lanes of Paseo De Valencia between Kennington and Laguna Hills drives were closed for approximately two hours, Hallock said.
