Aliso Niguel High School Orchestra - Benefit Concert at SOKA University

The Aliso Niguel High School Orchestra program ranks among the very largest and most extensive high school orchestra programs in California with five string orchestras and three full orchestras in the spring with over 300 participants.  Our program has received acclaim and praise from numerous music educators as being among the very finest in the state. 

This spring, a select group of students from our program will perform at the world famous Carnegie Hall in New York on March 20^th, 2012.   This is a big honor for our school and us.  We have been fundraising since last year to raise the funds needed to go.  

As a source of fundraising, we will hold a benefit concert at the new world-class concert hall at SOKA University.  This incredible hall seats around 1000 and is designed to be among the world’s top acoustical halls!  The hall’s acoustical engineer also worked on the world famous Walt Disney Hall in Los Angeles.  This concert is a major event for the Aliso Niguel High School Orchestra Program and the city of Aliso Viejo.  The concert will be on Tuesday, November 15^th, at 7:30p.m. and will feature performances by our top two string orchestras, small ensembles, and conclude with a performance by our Carnegie Hall Orchestra and the music they will perform this March.   

Ticket prices:  $15 general admission $8 students/seniors

Tickets are general seating and can be purchased from students in the orchestra program.  Please make checks payable to:  ANHS Orchestra Club.  Tickets can also be purchased on-line at our school’s website: www.alisoniguel.com  in the “ANHS Marketplace.”  Tickets purchased on-line will be held at the door the evening of the concert.
