Fourth ‘Green City Initiative’ Workshop Scheduled for Tonight

Land use will be discussed during tonight's workshop.

The fourth Green City Initiative workshop takes place tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. at City Hall.

The public is encouraged to attend to share ideas and learn the various ways Aliso Viejo plans to reduce their carbon footprint. 

Tonight's meeting will focus on land use and the changes and growth coming to the city.

"The Aliso Viejo Green City Initiative will determine greenhouse gas emissions for existing municipal, residential and non-residential sectors in the City; will set reduction targets; will develop goals, policies and measures to decrease greenhouse gas emissions within the City; and will formulate strategies for adapting to climate change," according to a city press release.
