How to dispose of an unwanted firearm (the video)

In this episode we'll show you how easy it is to dispose of an unwanted firearm to the local Orange County Sheriff's Department.

ALISO VIEJO, CA — My name is Rich Tamayo. I am an Emmy winning video producer since 1985 and now as a resident of Aliso Viejo I'm producing a video program entitled "Who, What, When, Where and Why".

I focus on local stories and things of interest and welcome solicitations for new stories. In this episode, I investigated the process of destroying an unwanted firearm.

In my case, my FireStar 9mm was on its last leg, and deemed unsafe by a firearm expert at a local shooting range, so I wanted to have it destroyed so that it couldn't ever end up in the wrong hands.* Be sure to watch for our other episode on our YouTube Channel.

(*This video is not meant to be a political tool, but rather a practical solution for one less unwanted firearm. I value the right I have, as an American Citizen, to be able to make either choice.)
