Trial of Alleged Movie Night Molester Postponed Again

More than two years after allegedly assaulting his first victim, and one year after a second alleged attack during Movie Night at Grand Park, German Brave DeJesus has not yet been tried.

The trial of German Bravo DeJesus, accused of sexually assaulting two minors more than two years apart, was to begin this week but has been postponed again until Oct. 22, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s office.

On Jan. 17, 2009, DeJesus allegedly fondled an 8-year-old girl at Palm Terrance Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Laguna Woods in the waiting room with another relative close to her age. DeJesus, who worked at the facility, is accused of approaching the girl, asking her name, then touching her vagina over her clothes two different times before fleeing the scene.

Then, on the night of July 8, 2011, DeJesus, of Lake Forest, is accused of approaching a 6-year-old girl, who was playing just 10 feet from her parents at Grand Park in Aliso Viejo during a movie night, asking her name, then putting his hand down her pants and touching her vagina. The defendant, who was 33 years old at the time, is accused of fleeing the scene, but the victim immediately told her father and police were contacted.
