Little Leaguers Continue Championship Run with Section 10 Tournament
Aliso Viejo is one of four teams looking to advance to the West Regionals, but it won't be easy with defending World Series champion Huntington Beach returning.

Aliso Viejo’s Little League team will represent the District 55 champions starting today with the 2012 Little League All-Star Section 10 tournament at Woodfield Park in Aliso Viejo.
Four district championship teams from Orange County will meet in a double-elimination tournament for 12-year-old boys. Two opening round games will be played today. At 4:00 p.m., District 68 champion Rancho Mission Viejo will meet District 62 champion Huntington Beach, and at 7:00 p.m. Aliso Viejo will face District 46 champion Garden Grove/Anaheim. The District 62 champions from last year, Ocean View Little League, won the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA last year.
The Section 10 championship game will be played on Tuesday at 7 p.m., unless a second game is needed, which would be played on Wednesday at 7. All games are at Woodfield Park, field #4.

Aliso Viejo Little League President Susan Booth says that despite the tough competition she believes Aliso has a great chance of advancing to the Little League West Regional, which will be held July 21-31 in San Bernardino.
"I have a very good feeling about these boys and coaches,” she said. “The players are leaders and have been role models for many young players in the Aliso Viejo Little League. If karma speaks loudly, they will go far and have great success in this tournament. I love them like they are all my boys"
