Missing Aliso Viejo Man Found

ALISO VIEJO, CA — Aliso Viejo resident Barrett Carlton was reported missing by his mother and fiance after vanishing from Santa Ana early Monday morning. He was found in Alhambra late Tuesday, according to his family .

Carlton, who was reported as walking around Soka University campus by security guards on Sunday morning, was last seen in Santa Ana on Monday morning at 6:45 a.m.

He did not have his cell phone or his keys on him, fiance Ashley McClure told Patch. "Nobody has received one phone call or anything from him. We were not sure if he has his wallet."

Carlton spent the weekend partying, and was not in communication with loved ones since midday Saturday, which is out of character, according to McClure.

"Saturday night he was seen at the Cigar Bar in Aliso Viejo, then he stayed out partying which is when the security guards saw him at Soka University at 9:30 a.m. Sunday."

Carlton was behaving strangely at Soka University at a cheer-leading event on Sunday morning, according to McClure.

Carlton's mother filed a missing persons report, but the family took no chances.

"I am not taking no for an answer, so we have to take things into our own hands," she said. "Please help share so that we can find him."
