Motorcyclist Killed in Crash with Lexus
A motorcyclist died in a two-vehicle crash at a Paseo De Colinas intersection.
A 39-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a two- vehicle crash today in Laguna Niguel, authorities said.
The crash at Paseo De Colinas and Del Cerro occurred at 10:04 a.m., said Lt. Jeff Hallock of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
The motorcyclist was going northbound on Paseo del Colinas when the crash occurred, Hallock said. The man was taken to Mission Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

The condition of the other motorist was not immediately known, Hallock said.
“It was unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved,” said Capt. Larry Kurtz of the Orange County Fire Authority, which transported the critically injured motorcyclist to the hospital.

The motorcyclist crashed into the back of a Lexus, Kurtz said.
The crash caused a closure of the northbound lanes of Paseo De Colinas in the area of Del Cerro during the accident investigation.
