OCSD Helicopter Circles Aliso Viejo Monday Night

ALISO VIEJO, CA — Residents of Aliso Viejo noticed the Orange County Sheriff's Department flying overhead Monday night. Many residents took to social media, wondering wondered what the OCSD helicopter was searching for as it circled overhead.

According to Aliso Viejo Police Services Twitter page, "Duke" the helicopter flew over the city on Monday evening seeking trespassers. Their twitter feed shared the message.

"In case you see Duke flying over AV (Monday) evening - AV Police Services is taking Duke out to look for trespassers in the creek areas," they said.

There was no word if trespassers were found during the search.
