Popular Snow Fest Gets Rescheduled Due To Weather Event: City of Aliso Viejo
Extreme weather this weekend has forced the rescheduling of Aliso Viejo's "Snow Fest" to later this mont, the city says.
ALISO VIEJO, CA — If you were planning on joining the community of Aliso Viejo at this weekend's "Snow Fest," go back to your calendar.
With rain in the forecast for Saturday, the city of Aliso Viejo's Snow Fest has been postponed until January 28.
"The city is in the process of notifying the more than 1,200 people who pre-registered for the popular event that takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Grand Park," they said in a statement.

The popular snow festival transforms the Town Center park into a winter wonderland with more than 60 tons of snow.
"Since the registration and transfer period ended earlier this month and remains closed, the city has mailed participants the required event wristbands," they said. "Folks who don't receive their wristbands by Thursday should call 949-425-2537."
