Shakespeare In The Park Wows Aliso Viejo Audience
Soka University was the spot for Shakespeare in the Park's Taming of the Shrew in Aliso Viejo.

ALISO VIEJO, CA — Many came out to watch "Taming of the Shrew" this week at Soka University's outdoor theater.
"Taming of the Shrew" was performed on the campus green at Soka University of America, according to recent release.
The comedic play was performed to a crowd of hundreds, according to those present.

Theater goers brought picnic baskets, blankets and beach chairs to watch the performance under the stars.
The classic entertainment featured Shakespeare by the Sea’s theater production of “The Taming of the Shrew,” directed by Cylan Brown. From their first meeting, sparks fly between Kate and Petruchio and the ultimate battle of the sexes.

Soka University’s Campus Green was the location, and admission was free.

"Fun was had by all including our grand prize winner with our SUA mascot, the Soka Lion!," the university stated over Facebook.
