Skateboarder Hit by Car, Traumatically Injured
A 13-year-old boy was seriously injured when he was hit by a car in an Aliso Viejo neighborhood.

13-year-old boy suffered traumatic injuries when he was struck by a car in a residential Aliso Viejo neighborhood while he rode a skateboard, authorities said today.
It happened about 10:40 a.m., the unnamed boy was struck by a motorist at Grand and Wood Canyon Drive, Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Mike Summers said.
The boy was not wearing a helmet at the time and was rushed to Mission Hospital.

The driver remained at the scene and was not cited, Orange County Sheriff’s Lt. Steve Gil said.
