Sponsors are Sought for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life of Aliso Viejo- Margot Ferron
Sponsors are sought for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Aliso Viejo, a 24-hour overnight event that will be held at Grand Park, 26703 Aliso Creek Rd, Aliso Viejo, CA 92656 on Sat., Aug. 10 at 9am to Sun., Aug. 11 at 9 am.
Sponsorship opportunities are available at different levels and it allows Relay to bring a wide array of participants together to fight against cancer. It’s a unique way to inspire hope and to create awareness to help those facing the disease.
How can you get involved? You can donate to various events, teams and activities-or be Business Sponsor. The deadline to get in the program, on T-shirts and other written items is July 16, 2013.

Teams walk on the track at Grand Park. They are committed to creating awareness and raising money in the fight against cancer. Join in the party atmosphere! Teams pitch tents, camp-out, eat, feast, share in games and entertainment.
Because Relay is a team event, individuals aren’t required to be there the entire time. However, it’s so much fun you will get caught up in the party atmosphere and want to stay. The day is packed with entertainment- bands, Kids zone, onsite fundraisers, fight back messages, etc.

You don’t need to be a runner or even a walker to participate. The common thread is to have team members’ continuously walking, running or rolling around the track for 24 hours to celebrate those who have survived cancer, remember those we have lost to the disease and to empower everyone to fight back against cancer.
Relay is a healing experience for those fighting cancer. It offers them a chance to meet others who have claimed victory over cancer. This is a great, free family event for the community, but it wouldn't be possible without the many generous sponsors and volunteers.
For more information or to register for the event go to www.relayforlife/alisoviejoca or call the American Cancer Society at 949-567-0610. If you have any questions, please call Maria Flores, Team Development Chair at 949/689-1806, gumscrape@aol.com.
