Tall, Masked Man Chases Kids With Sword
Selected calls from Aliso Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, July 6-10.
A caller reported that a tall, shirtless man wearing a hockey mask was chasing a group of kids around with a sword at Wood Canyon Elementary School near the 23400 block of Knollwood, according to Sheriff’s Deputies.
The informant added that it did not look playful and that the children appeared scared of the suspect.
The suspicious person report was made Friday at 9:39 p.m.

Disturbance. 7:48 p.m. Monday. Aliso Creek Road and Enterprise. A caller said a group of 10 kids were yelling and cursing at passersby in front of the movie theaters.
Suspicious person/circumstances. 1:29 a.m. Monday. 100 block Night Heron Lane. A resident said someone hit their door with what sounded like a baseball bat.
Suspicious person/circumstances. 6:36 p.m. Sunday. 26700 block Aliso Creek Road. An informant said they saw a man in his 20s load what appeared to be a rifle into the trunk of a car that was parked on the second story of a nearby parking structure.
Suspicious person/circumstances. 11:55 a.m. Sunday. Sunswept Mesa and Endless Vista. A caller said a woman with long, black hair and wearing a pink sundress was walking around the neighborhood with a can of cat food saying that she was looking for her lost cat.
Disturbance. 12:21 p.m. Saturday. Aliso Viejo Parkway and Aliso Creek Road. A caller said a man driving a silver Acura MDX with two children in it was suffering from road rage and was brake-checking other drivers, even stepping out of the car in an attempt to fight other motorists.
Disturbance. 12:20 p.m. Saturday. 0 block. Gatewood Drive. A resident said her neighbors were harassing and snapping photos of her as she was cleaning her property.
Disturbance. 8:29 p.m. Friday. 0 block Carlsbad Lane. A resident said their neighbor was yelling out his window at her husband, citing that it's an ongoing problem.
Disturbance. 5:22 p.m. Friday. 0 block Rue du Chateau. The mother of a 14-year-old boy said her son has been harassing and being mean to her all day.
