The Moissanite Diamond. Is it synthetic or real?

There is suddenly a large amount of diamonds called Moissanite merging into the marketplace. 25 years ago when I was a younger soul in the jewelry industry I was introduced to this amazing process and learned that they took a piece of a 'meteorite" into a lab and grew from it the "Moissanite". I was fascinated!  Not only was it difficult to discern from a real diamond but it was almost as 'hard' on the Mohs scale (same as diamond hardness).  I remember studying to find the secret identity as to this imposter.
Cutting to the chase, the Moissanite Diamond is great for the person who simply can't afford a diamond. Instead of spending $7000 you can pay $1000 and your stone won't look like a Cubic Zirconia.  I highly recommend the Moissanite and hope this blog has enlightened you!
