Many times our clients speak about how they 'don't go near water' and want to know how moisture gets into their watch and therefore 'rust occurs' causing expensive watch repair bills. Here is our advice: Since most watches are 'water resistant" and therefore not 'water proof" keep your watches 'out of the bathroom area where you shower"! The moisture from the bathroom will in fact go into the watch from the crystal, stem and back of watch and cause 'rust to occur'!
