11-Year-Old Goes Missing In Alatdena

Police are asking for help finding an 11-year-old boy, who went missing in Altadena.

ALTADENA, CA — Authorities searched Wednesday for an 11-year-old boy from Altadena who is missing and has run away in the past.

Kayson McLane was last seen walking way from Focus Point Academy at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, according to Deputy Marvin Crowder of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Kayson is Hispanic, 5-feet-1-inches tall and weighs 131 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, Crowder said. A description of what he was wearing was not immediately available.

Kayson may be hanging out in the nearby area and his caregivers are very concerned, Crowder said.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts was asked to call Sgt. Parkhurst or Det. Taylor at the sheriff's Altadena Station at (626) 798-1131.
