Altadena Man Arrested In Fatal Crash: Police
Police are investigating the 22-year-old Altadena man in a Pasadena crash Thursday that killed his passenger.

PASADENA, CA — Police in Pasadena arrested a man following a single-car crash that left one person dead.
The crash at the intersection of Colorado Boulevard and Michigan Avenue happened shortly before midnight Thursday, said Pasadena police Lt. John Luna. A 22-year-old Altadena man lost control of his 1990s sedan, striking a curb and a light, said Luna. The vehicle was found upright, and the front-seat passenger died at the scene.
A second passenger, a 22-year-old Pasadena man, was treated at the scene by paramedics and transported to a local hospital for medical clearance. The passenger was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication, and was to be booked following evaluation at the hospital, Luna added.

The driver was being investigated for driving while intoxicated, said Luna.
Motorists were advised to avoid Colorado Boulevard between Michigan and Chester avenues as the crash investigation was underway.
