Crime Blotter: A Look at Calls For Service In Altadena

Tuesday, December 17
Between 10:00 a.m. and 10:47 a.m. – A petty theft occurred in the 1900 block of Lake Avenue.  Loss: a vehicle registration tab.

Wednesday, December 18
3:00 p.m. – A grand theft occurred in the 2400 block of Washington Blvd.  Loss: a black HP laptop, black Sony PSP game console, black Razor computer mouse, black iPhone charger, black HP charger, headset, earphones, black backpack.

Thursday, December 19
Between 10:00 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. (Friday) – A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 3500 block of Leilani Way. Loss: a Barbie doll, accessories, Legos, PS3 games, game controller, children’s clothing, black storage device, gift card.

Friday, December 20
12:06 a.m. – Thomas Hilpert, 52, of Culver City, was arrested for public intoxication.

Saturday, December 21
2:40 a.m. – A residential vandalism occurred in the 200 block of Ventura Street.
4:30 p.m. – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the area of Mountain View Avenue. and Fair Oaks Avenue.  ***Known suspect***
Between 4:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – A vehicle burglary occurred at 24Hr. Fitness, 2180 Lincoln Avenue.  Suspect(s) entered the vehicle by shattering the side window. Loss: a black projector and currency.
