The Southern California Hemerocallis and Amaryllis Society presents its annual daylily celebration.
Arcadia, CA (May 23, 2013) The amazing variety in color and shape of daylilies will be the center of attention at the Southern California Hemerocallis and Amaryllis Society’s (SCHAS) Annual Daylily Show and Sale. All are invited to come and see the SCHAS members’ prize daylilies on display, and to shop among the daylilies, bulbs, and exotic plants that will be for sale. The show is open from 9am to 4pm Saturday, June 1, 2013 in Ayers Hall at the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden. Entrance to the Show and Sale is free with Arboretum Admission.
All are invited to attend SCHAS meetings to learn about Daylilies, other Flowering Bulbs, and our club. Meetings are held at 10 a.m. every 3rd Saturday of the month at the L.A. County Arboretum & Botanic Garden - Palm Room. SCHAS programs feature speakers with power point photo presentations and an educational show & tell flower session. Please join us to hear one of our fascinating speakers, to see and learn about many types of plants that thrive in our area, and participate - if you like - in our plant raffles while enjoying delicious refreshments. First-time visitors to the meeting will receive a free plant.
