Deputies from the Altadena Sheriff's Station are continuing to investigate a discovery of possible human remains.
The discovery was made in the 3900 block of Fair oaks Avenue at 12:25 p.m. Deputies received the call at 3:13 p.m. Investigators with Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Homicide Bureau are working on the case, according to deputies in a written statement.
"Due to the terrain, weather and hour of darkness, detectives will respond tomorrow, along with personnel from the coroner's office and continue their investigation," deputies said.
