"Dharma Lessons from Everyday Life"

Pasadena Buddhist Temple Public Talk, "Dharma Lessons from Everyday Life".

Pasadena Buddhist Temple is presenting a public lecture and discussion featuring Rev. Tetsuo Unno and Rev. Gregory Gibbs on “Dharma Lessons from Everyday Life” on Saturday April 18, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm in the Temple sanctuary. Jodo Shinshu is the largest school of Buddhism in Japan, founded over 900 years and rooted in the farming communities. It is a non-monastic tradition. Hear how learning from teachings of the Buddha can be found in examples from everyday life. Rev. Unno and Rev. Gibbs will each give a short lecture, followed by a discussion and question and answer period. This presentation is open to the public and free of charge. There is ample free parking.
