On Saturday March 26, 2011 The Junior League of Pasadena, Inc. will host their 7th Annual Bodywise Conference at Westridge School in Pasadena (324 Madeline Drive Pasadena, CA 91105.)
The conference is a one day nutrition, fitness and well being conference for girls in grades six through eighth as well as for their parents/caregivers. BodyWise aims to help girls establish a foundation of healthy habits and confidence in body image that will have a positive impact for a lifetime.
The Junior League of Pasadena, Inc. is committed to ensure that every middle school girl understands her limitless potential and is equipped with the skills necessary to achieve that potential.

The keynote speaker for the event is Katherine Schwarzenegger, the author of the hip, honest and very real book, Rock What You've Got: Secrets to Loving Your Inner and Outer Beauty from Someone Who's Been There and Back.
In addition to the keynote speaker, the BodyWise Conference will feature a variety of interactive workshops and discussions on important topics for middle school girls and their parents and caregivers focusing on health, fitness, nutrition, positive body image, peer pressure and more.

There will be hands-on demonstrations and a lunchtime exhibit hall featuring local businesses, organizations, and programs related to fitness, health and community activities.
Registration is $10 and includes lunch.
