The CERT program's goal "is to help them do so effectively and efficiently without placing themselves in unnecessary danger," according to the press release for this upcoming training series. Participants at the sessions in Loma Alta Park learn how to administer basic medical attention, put out small fires and other life-saving and disaster-response skills.
