is a great place to check out books, DVDs, and CDs, but every May it’s also the
best place to purchase these gently used items at very low prices. When you
buy from the library, you not only come away with great bargains, but also that
lovely feeling knowing you did something good, because every penny goes to the
wonderful Friends of Altadena Library The book sale will be this weekend and is
open to members of the Friends (You
can join on the spot!) on Friday, May 17, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm,
and open to the general public on
Saturday, May 18, from 10:00am to 4:00pm, and Sunday, May 19, from 1:00pm to
4:00pm. The library is
located at 600 East Mariposa
