The Institute of Urban Ecology is putting on a series of workshops and screenings in June, entitled JUNE BLOOM. The workshops will cover beekeeping, homesteading, composting, making biodiesel, backyard chickens, water harvesting, and more! Friday's potluck will feature a presentation by Altadena garden hero Leigh Adams on her rainwater catchment system. More details at www.instituteofurbanecology.org
