MonteCedro Celebrates Opening with Ribbon Cutting
A ribbon-cutting event took place Dec. 16 at MonteCedro, a new nonprofit continuing care retirement community in Altadena.

MonteCedro, a new nonprofit continuing care retirement community, celebrated its opening with a ribbon cutting Dec. 16. MonteCedro is part of the Episcopal Communities & Services family of organizations. Six residents took occupancy on December 17th and 40 will move in before the end of December.
Taking part in the celebration were MonteCedro President Elect James Rothrock, MonteCedro Board Member Ron Apel, ECS President and CEO Martha Tamburrano, Bishop Suffragan Mary Glasspool, Chief Operating Officer Terry Quigley and ECS board member Jim White, who also toured the completed community.
“We are thrilled that the doors to MonteCedro are open and we are now able to welcome residents to this world-class senior living community,” says Martha Tamburrano, President and Chief Executive Officer of Episcopal Communities & Services. “Not only is this community environmentally friendly, our residents will enjoy a lifestyle of opportunity with a variety of amenities.”
