Police Blotter: More Burglaries and a Case of Vehicle Vandalism
As usual, there were more residential and vehicle burglaries this week in Altadena, as well as an incident of vehicle vandalism over an argument about illegal parking.

Monday, February 14, between 4:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. - A burglary from a trailer used as a residence occurred in the 100 block of E. Woodbury Road. The suspect(s) removed the lock and chain used to secure the front door. A black Acer Aspire 15" laptop was stolen.
Wednesday, February 16, between 8:45 p.m. and 7 a.m. Thursday - A vehicle burglary occurred in the 1500 block of Sinaloa Avenue. The suspect(s) entered the 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe by prying the keyhole from the driver's side door. A gray and black built-in display center console unit which includes a GPS monitor, a radio, and a rear camera were stolen.

Thursday, February 17, between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. - A residential burglary occurred in the 2900 block of Santa Rosa Avenue. The suspect(s) entered the location by removing the glass panel from the front door. Nothing was stolen.
Friday, February 18, 10:55 p.m. - A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 2200 block of N. Lake Avenue. The suspect and victim were involved in a verbal altercation regarding illegal parking. The suspect became irate and removed a wooden stick from his vehicle and struck the victim's vehicle. The suspect was apprehended by deputies and taken into custody.
