2nd Meeting on Burbank School's Future on Monday
Following up a contentious meeting earlier this month Pasadena Unified officials have called for a second meeting on the future of the soon-to-be-vacated East Altadena elementary school campus

Pasadena Unified officials have scheduled a public meeting on the future use of the campus for 7 p.m. on Monday, June 27, at the school's campus.
The district's plan for the school, which we've written about , is to relocate several preschools, a mental health center and some district training program offices to the campus next fall. The new uses would require $150,000 to $170,000 in construction to transform the facilities and add new parking.
School officials began a discussion of the future use of the plan at a district meeting in late May in which a vote on what to do with the school failed after several board members said that the Altadena public should be notified before the board takes any action.

At a subsequent meeting in Altadena earlier this month, " in bringing the vote forward without public input. Attendees at the meeting criticized some of the proposed uses, as well as the expansion of parking in the area and a plan to on the campus.
At the meeting earlier this month officials said they would bring the plan up for a vote again on June 28, so next Monday's meeting is a chance to give any last residents a chance to offer input before the plan is presented.
