Suspected Jaguar Thief Arrested in Altadena

ALTADENA, CA - A 27-year-old man suspected of stealing a 2015 Jaguar was apprehended in Altadena on Friday afternoon following a search by police and sheriff's deputies.

The luxury sports car, which was reported stolen out of La Crescenta, was spotted about 4 p.m. traveling in northeast Altadena, according to the Pasadena Police Department. Officers used helicopters to search the area and asked deputies to join in the effort.

Law enforcement located the vehicle on Lincoln Avenue and Acacia Street, where a felony traffic stop was made that prompted the temporary shut down of Lincoln Avenue, Los Angeles County Altadena Station deputies said.

The suspect's name was not released.
