210 Freeway Overnight Closures Announced Jan. 23-27: CALTRANS

Freeway closures overnight in San Gabriel Valley may affect your overnight commute. Be advised as to the 210 closures.

Commuters in the San Gabriel Valley, be aware.

Portions of the Foothill (210) Freeway will be closed next week to accommodate a $148.5 million pavement rehabilitation project, Caltrans announced Friday.

The closures listed below will be in effect, weather permitting, from January 23-27:

Eastbound 210:
-- Up to 3 lanes between Lowell Avenue and Lake Avenue (7 p.m. to 6 a.m.)
-- Lowell and La Crescenta Avenue on-ramps (7 p.m. to 6 a.m.)
-- Connector to 134 Freeway (7 p.m. to 6 a.m.)
-- Connector to 710 Freeway (7 p.m. to 6 a.m.)
-- Connector to southbound Glendale (2) Freeway (7 p.m. to 6 a.m.)

Westbound 210:
-- Up to 4 lanes between Lake Avenue and Lowell Avenue (7 p.m. to 6 a.m.)
-- Gould Avenue and Walnut Street on-ramps, Foothill Boulevard and La Crescenta off-ramps, Angeles Crest Highway, Ocean View Boulevard, and Pennsylvania Avenue on- and off-ramps (7 p.m. to 6 a.m.)
-- Connector to southbound 710 (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.)
-- Connector to southbound 2 Freeway (7 p.m. to 6 a.m.)
-- Eastbound 134 connector to westbound 210 (7 p.m. to 6 a.m.) Additionally, the on- and off-ramps to the eastbound 210 at Pennsylvania Avenue will remain closed through spring.
