• $10 million in Adidas and Nike streetwear found at Arcadia warehouse, all fake, authorities say (latimes.com subscription) — Law enforcement recently seized more than 25,000 pieces of suspected counterfeit Adidas, Nike and other branded streetwear at a commercial warehouse in Arcadia, valued at about $10 million. Deputies intercepted the shipment at a port of entry in August, then searched the Arcadia facility last week; no arrests have been made yet, but the warehouse business owner is a suspect.
   

• Mission Valley Changing Leadership - Inside The Valley (labusinessjournal.com) — Mission Valley Bank, which operates a branch in Arcadia, is undergoing a leadership transition as longtime chief executive Tamara Gurney hands day-to-day control to Brian Carlson. The bank, focused on small-business and specialty lending, now manages about $800 million in assets and serves thousands of clients across its four locations, with Gurney remaining involved at the holding-company and board level.
